A full stack rebuild to address performance and usability issues caused by legacy code from previous iterations of the site and 3rd party software unique to our Classified paper software. The build included the addition of a content management system, a mobile responsive front-end, an integrated blog platform and a classified ad builder.
The Greensheet had a very strong 40 year old brand in Houston Texas. The problem with the brand was it was associated exclusively with Greensheet's classified shoppers. In an effort to market new digital and printing products and appeal to business customers, The Greensheet created and launched Douglass Media Group as an umbrella brand for the Greensheet suite of products.
Obstacles: Limited budget and deadlines. Lack of a post-launch advertising plan.
At the time of my employment on the Administaff HRTools team, the company was developing the launch of the Insperity brand and product suite. Following were my contributions to the website and brand project.
HR Tools was a large thought leadership website featuring experts in the field of Human Resources.
JMW Design Studio provided ecommerce websites and corporate identity design with a focus on small luxury brands. Featured clients included start-up online diamond stores, a nationaly known interior design firm and an upscale western silversmith.
Ashford.com grew to be largest online store of it's day and consisted of thousands of luxury products available online and was persistently in a state of extreme growth. This project was an exercise in solving many problems never encountered before in terms of how to display products and provide great user experiences online. Many of our solutions became industry standards and were recognized by leading financial and design publications.
