I joined the Greensheet as Digital Marketing Manager to develop and implement the papers digital strategy. This included building their digital marketing and development team in-house. I eventually moved to a Creative Direction role and helped develop branding and content strategies. As needed, I managed the web design, product development and Marketing departments and was heavily involved in implementing user experience and user testing processes.
Directed the design team that created the online version of the paper place-an-ad process. In addition to the very specific steps required for customers to print classified ads we successfully added tools and features customers would expect for online classified sites.
During my time at The Greensheet, content and responsive interface standards were rapidly evolving. Following are snapshots of branding, content strategy and designs over a 4 year period.
